Lowz, Murray, Lauran and all.. How are ya? Wow, what a trip..a page to help bring back all the great times in Woodbridge. I'm living in Wisconsin since 1990. What's your greatest memory of the times in the store? Murray, the ski boot foam deal or tak'n Chris O'Brian fish'n? Lowz.. how about the time I stood inside the sleeping bad rack and everytime someone would walk by I said " Hello, I'm a Coleman Sleeping Bag". I think we should all write a book about that place. Stay in touch..

    Re: Woodbridge Store

Trace, Yeah your a doll...croc-a-doll. One time Charlie Cassity (asst str mgr) said to a customer that was giving him a hard time at the register, "I wish I had just one customer like you, cause I have a million just like you". It was a classic put down. I roared then and I'm still laughing at that comment.

Tijuana Smalls... I stopped smoking in the year 2000. Picked it back up a short time ago... Damn Tijuana smalls are addictive. Dave Bloom use to always come by my desk in Carteret and grab one... miss those days. My parties have only gotten better... big one coming up this weekend.

I'm not sure I'll be making the reunion. I have a fishing trip planned for that weekend in Tennessee and time is running out to make the decision.

Lowzik! You've gotta go, you can fish anytime! The "gang" just wouldn't be complete without you. You were always my favorite stop on the replenishment run up to MIS - can you believe we used to write eveything out on the gigantic forms? Remember, your office WAS WHERE the elite would meet. Come on, you've got to come, at least to see me and Barb - pretty please... Tracey

    Gary-
I have old photos of the team... I have been looking for them.
We worked togehter back then.  I was the blonde in the shoe dept.
I  remember when you would stick bras in Orins sweater sleeve so when he would put them on he would get all embarrased. An I also remember wild turkey in the back @ xmas. that and plenty more.
Too bad you have to go fishing.

    Re: Woodbridge Store

    Hi Pam,

This Hot Dawg. You might be thinking of a different Tracy but I'm not sure. The one your thinking of worked in skis around that time. From there I think she went up the ranks and wound up in Greenbrook...I think. Thats been many moons ago. You might have worked with Roxanne and maybe Shep. Everybody remembers Shep. When it came to Lowz and the fishing dept. you didn't have to wait until Christmas to get your wild turkey...it was ALWAYS readily available. Right Lowz ??? Without a doubt Woodbridge was a great place to work. It was a great group of people. I wish more of them would join in on this site.

    Re: Woodbridge Store

    Hot Dawg-
I worked in the shoe dept part time at first and then full time as Asst. Manager. OMG we had such a great time! It was a crazy place to work.
I guess I only was invited to join in the Wild Turkey during the holidays! LOL
I remember when we would attach a little piece of fur on a fishing line and through it through the back entrance of the store into the mall and watch everyone jump because they thought it was a mouse. I also remember the time that two mice actually jumped out at me from a box of shoes. I sent the customer to foot locker that day!
You are right, it would be great if other ppl from the Woodbridge store would join the site. Or come to the party!
    Hope to see you there.

    Re: Woodbridge Store

    Pam,

I can't believe you remember the fur/fishing rod thing. The guys that worked out back and across at the mens store and the guys next store at the hair cutters would bust their gut laugh'n when we would do that. I think Dan Artz, God rest his soul, started it. I wish Steve Garatano would chime in along with all the rest.

    Hey Dawg,

It's great to hear from you! Tough choice, but the night we too Chris O'Brien fishing was a pisser.

I can understand you going to Tennessee. I was born there and have been back many times. Where will you be? My dad had a place on Kentucky Lake for many years. I love it down there.

     Stay in touch.

    Re: Woodbridge Store

    Hey Mur,

Actually I'm in Wisconsin. A little different climate than Tenn. Cold as a hell during the winter. In fact last year on the day the Giants played the Packers for the playoff game it was -4 in Green Bay but -17 on the other side of the state where I am. I was -35 that morning...no windchill, that was the actual temp. Of all the places I've been, nothing beats the time working In Woodbridge. Who could forget Shep? I wonder where he is now. Stay in touch.

     Hi Guys,

I went skiing with Dave Siegal.  Does that get me extra credit on this exam?
