    Who's Great Idea Was This

Apparently this is new but I will forward on to a few

I haven't noticed if there is a place to view the Members. - I will check back and see if I can fill in any more slots

I still have my box of Herman's Paraphilnalia in the attic - I am sure I kept nearly everything

How lucky I was to grow up in the Herman's family - could have done without the crap - but have lots of fun memories and made great friends

I had to zoom the phone lists to view all of the names - such a great family of people Would love to come to a Reunion

OK so left or otherwise departed in 1994 Had Chelsea Anna

Started consulting in like '95 for Sneaker on and off

    Had Tyler in 1996

Started working at Sneaker - i remember the basketball races up the hallways

Then out for a short maternity with my Lyndsea Lu

That ride lasted nearly 5 yrs

There til 1999 met more great people like Joe Miller along with herman's alumni

Karen and I compared baby and Mom stories - and being late picking the kids up cause the workaholics we are

Moved downstairs to smaller qtrs and joined Jim D (after his spell in the CT office) at Family Pet Center

Sneakers to Dogs very interesting  - There was still a few of us Hermanites: Donna, Julio ..... and right next store at the Photo Co. was Dave, Mike D, Irene C.......

Was a great challenge with more great people

Again family oriented, i was able to still care for my kids and work - i had the best of both worlds

Some have retired some family we've lost, the rest moved on to new things and some are just on a longer siesta

but all will be most interested in a Herman's Reunion

    Way to Go

    who do i thank

Re: Who's Great Idea Was This

    Marie,

Congratulations you are the first person to use the web site posting!  We are under construction and will be adding lots more interesting memorabilia and will be updating it with a list of alumni who have been contacted...right now I have collected info for well over a hundred of our fellow HERMANITES!

Our goal is to get the web site going and use it as a forum for networking (with some of the most talented and friendly people that I have ever met) and as a method for communicating planned events. We are planning a reunion in the Fall of 2008.

Debbie Freyer, Karen Briody,  and I are currently working to put together this first event.

I too have many fond memories and feel as though I grew up in a Herman's family. I started working for the Company in 1975 as a Ski Mechanic, part time while I was attending college, and left as many did, with the sad ending in 1996. My wife also worked for the company but we didn't meet  there...I think she just wanted to keep an eye on me! Since 1996 I have been surrounded by former Herman's employees bringing many into our current business and working with many others on projects, as clients.

Glad to see that appreciate the site and our efforts. If you have contact with any of our fellow colleagues please send them our way!

We should have a date for you to pencil-in next week...stay tuned!

Hey, hoping this gets to both of you.

Kary is still the smartest guy I know.  He is the brains behind this.

Marie, so wonderful to hear from you.  I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.
