hi to all,

 i cannot express how much my time downtown affected me throughout my life .... you were all very patient with this young cocky up start ... the things you took the time to teach me and the constant looking out for my welfare have helped me become the success that I have been .... i am glad to have this forum to be able to apologize for my rudeness and uncaring ... at the time I thought I was pretty hot stuff ... you all took the time to guide me and to teach me that the employees are the ones responsible for any managers success .... and for that i will always be greatful.

Yeah, it seems to me yo were a bit of a pain in the ass, hahaha. How are you John? What are you doing with yourself?

PIA is probably an understatement ... spent my years after herman's as an ops director for 12,000 seat arenas, retired from that when i turned 50 and started a stained glass business (a long time hobby), things are good, traveled a lot, seen lots, ate lots.

Hi John,

 If I remember correctly, I think we worked together for a little while...I worked at the Roosevelt Field store with Lou Rosado in "Hunting and Fishing" from 1972 to 1974...then at the Greecetown Mall store near Rochester, NY.  I help renovate the "Hunting and Fishing" dept at the Nassau St. store in 1973(?) for 2-weeks and we hung out some for lunch during the renovations.  Let me know...Tim Holmes
