    Re: Horace Horton?

Wow I forgot about him. How about Henry Ash? Bruce ( I forgot his last name)? Mitch the fishing guru? Anyone from Highland Park? Pat from HP offices? Bill McDaniel? Hee hee!

    Re: Horace Horton?

Hi - Bruce was "Endo" and Pat was "Vissus" (or some such spelling - she was fondly referred to as Viscious").

One of the older fishing/hunting guys at Woodfield had a heart attack on the floor one day; I can't remember his name tho.

Haven't heard anything about Horace since his retirement party in... geez, before I moved away, so 1987, maybe?

    Re: Horace Horton?

The fishing guy from Woodfield that had the heart attack was probably Tom Chmeil.  He worked for Kleins Sporting goods before Hermans bought the chain.  He goes back to the small store on the first floor by Penneys and next to Woodfield stationers
